In the past, the Foundation has made grants to organizations that build the power and leadership of lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirit and transgender youth through:

  • grassroots organizing and/or comprehensive leadership development;
  • working with historically underprivileged constituencies: youth of color, transgender, immigrant, low-income or rural youth and/or youth in reservation communities;
  • striving to bring about institutional change in the legal, political, economic, or cultural structures that impact LGBT youth, and;
  • working to link LGBT youth to other organizations and social justice movements.

Due to decreasing resources, the Foundation unfortunately can no longer accept unsolicited grant requests. We are, however, very proud of our grant history, its diversity and for providing early support for many successful organizations and people. Please check out both our Grant History and Endorsements from some of our former grant winners.
